Terms of service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Mess360, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Mess360 helps messes, hostels and shared households record meals, expenses and deposits and calculate monthly settlements. Features depend on the package of each mess.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Mess administrators

If you create or administer a mess, you are responsible for the accuracy of the records you and your managers enter, and for having your members’ agreement before adding their details. Calculations are only as correct as the data entered.

5. Packages and payments

• Prices are shown in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) per month on the pricing page.
• Paid packages are activated after we verify your payment transaction ID.
• A package covers the months you paid for; renewals extend the current period.
• If a package expires, the mess continues on the Free package limits. Your data is not deleted.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service for anything unlawful or to harass others;
• try to access other messes’ data or other people’s accounts;
• disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the service;
• submit false payment information.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the data you enter. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the service to you and your mess.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may carry out maintenance and will try to keep downtime short.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is a tool for keeping records. We are not responsible for disputes between members, for losses caused by incorrect data, or for indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last three months.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after notice where reasonable.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
