A month in your mess
Every night
At your mess’s daily time, tomorrow’s meals are created from each member’s schedule and approved requests.
Before the cut-off
Members going home or having guests send a meal request; the manager approves it.
After bazar
The manager records what was bought; the server adds up the totals.
When money comes in
Deposits are recorded and confirmed, so every member’s paid amount is always correct.
At month end
Calculate the month: meal rate, each member’s cost and balance. Close it to lock the numbers.

Example: 18,450 taka of confirmed bazar and 412.5 meals give a meal rate of 44.7273. A member who ate 62 meals owes 2,773.09; if they deposited 3,000, they have an advance of 226.91.
